 Starting by September 16th 2017, millions of visitors will celebrate again the largest folk festival in the world on the “Theresienwiese” in Munich. The Wiesn lures with beer and pretzels -
Between beer tents, fast food and fast-paced rides, people dance and celebrate in traditional dirndl
and leather pants. 

Munich is known for its Oktoberfest. But there is much more to experience.Among the most important historical buildings belong places to the city of Munich like the Marienplatz with the new and old Town Hall, Theatinerkirche, Odeonsplatz and Pinakothek. September 17th // 10 am: Costume and Riflemen's Procession.
September 20th and 27th  // Family days with numerous discounts.
September 25th // 11 am: Wiesn-Kapellen - stand concert at the feet of Bavaria.
October 3rd // End the festivities around midnight.
